I may have been looking in the wrong places but that is not a group I consider as common, domestic waterfowl. =20 Best,=20 Rob Hilton rhilton@csa.com Silver Spring/Bethesda, Md.=20 +++++++++++++++++++ Subject: Shelduck at Jug Bay From: Fred Fallon Date: Fri, 24 Aug 2001 09:06:23 -0400 On Tue am I saw a shelduck in Jug Bay, as seen from the AA side viewing platform in the direction of Mt Calvert. I would not normally report such a common domestic species, often seen on area ponds, but for the remote chance that there be a connection with the Black-bellied Whistling-Duck reported a few days earlier. Perhaps a collecter is missing some inmates.
