Hi,=20

Last night around 8:30 pm or so, as we were walking around downtown
Silver Spring, Lisa and I saw one Common Nighthawk fly around a street
lamp but so low that at one point that it was under the top of the
structure and maybe only (?two or) three feet from our faces. It made
not a sound, and silently disappeared toward Fenton Street. Though it
was only one bird, it was the closest either one of us has ever been to
a nighthawk, and was almost a magical moment. =20
