Things were fairly lively, , with PARULA, REDSTART and BLACK/WHITE WARBLERS spotted. KINGBIRDS and PURPLE MARTINS were gathering over the point. YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO and BALTIMORE/ORCHARD ORIOLE were active. GREAT-CRESTED FC heard off in the woods. Raptors included 3 imm BALD EAGLES, KESTREL and COOPERS HAWK. The hawk watch begins officially on Sept. 1st. Hope to see many of you this season.
