The = first birds we set our glasses on were BOBOLINKS with a final tally of = 25. The fields look SO promising and I am waiting on pins and needles = for October. If I come up missing look for a tent pitched in the middle = of the field, I may not come out until November. 53 species total with = close to half a dozen each of BLUE GROSBEAKS, BALTIMORE ORIOLE and = SCARLET TANGERS. WOOD THRUSH- 3 and a single VEERY. My first ROSE-BREATSED GROSBEAK = chinking and a single RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH. Singles and doubles of = warblers with a NASHVILLE, WILSON'S and CHAT for highlights.=20 I am on HIGH ALERT for Lark sparrow but those pesky flycatchers keep = getting in the way. We did have GREAT-CRESTED, PHOEBE and PEWEE.=20 Bonnie Ott Ellicott city,Howard County bonnie1163@home.com ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
