Early on we hit a nice mixed flock that included 9 species of warbler: BLACKBURNIAN, BLACK/WHITE, BLUE-WINGED, CHESTNUT SIDED, MAGNOLIA, PARULA, YELLOW, REDSTART, TENNESSEE. Raptors observed were BALD EAGLE, immature and mature, RED-TAILED HAWK, OSPREY and SHARP-SHINNED HAWK. I think every person in the crowd got a good look at a spectacular fly through of PILEATED WOODPECKER. Another flyby was CASPIAN TERN,and BOBOLINK were heard " plinking " overhead. Other sightings included: Yellow-billed Cuckoo Eastern Kingbird Great-crested Flycatcher Willow Flycatcher EAstern Peewee. Yellow-throated Vireo White-breasted Nuthatch Baltimore Oriole Purple Martin Eastern Kingbird Northern Rough-winged Swallow Veery Total species, not all included here, were 47. A great morning and a nice start to the season.
