MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Greetings, After a spectacularly dull beginning for the ANS Sycamore Landing trip, we decided to check Hughes Hollow. It was definitely birdier, with a very cooperative Olive-sided Flycatcher perching and flying about us for more than half an hour. It was first seen in the area of the information board at the cross-dyke behind the dog-training area. It afforded fine scope views in addition to good binocular sightings. Not much else of interest, or even uninterest! One nice sight was a Sharp-shinned, a Cooper's, a Broad-winged and a Red-shouldered Hawk simultaneously in one binocular field. A few other individuals were also seen. No warblers of any nature were encountered.
