It was the first big warbler day of the season, 10 = species. As usual at this time of year the only singing birds were = vireos and pewees. The tally was: Parula 5 Chestnut-sided 1 Magnolia 2 Black-throated Blue 1 female Black-throated Green 1 Blackburnian 3 Cerulean 1 male, my latest ever by three days Black-&-white 2 Ovenbird 1 Canada 1 Also seen were several Scarlet Tanagers, 1 Gnatcatcher, and one = Rose-breasted Grosbeak was heard. Surprisingly there were no Redstarts. Later at Soldiers Delight in Baltimore County I saw 2 Red-breasted = Nuthatches. The only warbler I saw there was 1 Pine.
