Subject: Virginia hawk-watching question MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Hi - I realize this isn't a Maryland topic, but a friend of mine who teaches at Gallaudet just asked me this question, and I don't know the answer. "Do you know where the ridge is where people go to see the raptors in migration in Virginia? Trying to see if it's worth going there with a class versus going to Hawk Mountain. The camping trip is in Nov. I think the date is the 17th and 18th. I'm worried that this is too late for seeing much." Does anyone know where she's talking about or is "ridge in Virginia" too vague?
