Mime-version: 1.0 Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-transfer-encoding: 7bit Hi all -- A pretty slow day at Rock Creek Park, DC, although persistence as usual paid off with a few migrants. the "ridge" was essentially dead, most birds being in the Maintenance Yard and the "dog run" (Military Field). Our tally -- Warblers: Magnolia (2), Nashville (2), Redstart (3), Black-throated Blue (1), Chestnut-sided (2), Yellowthroat (5), best bird, a nice Tennessee in the dog run. We also saw about 10 Red-eyed Vireos, 1 Great Crested Flycatcher, 1 Yellow-billed Cuckoo, and 2 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds. We need a strong cold front!
