Highlights included an adult Canada Warbler and a Blue Headed Vireo. Several other birds were in the vicinity, including an empid. flycatcher, several Blue Jays and Cardinals, and Chickadees. Also of note were 100 Canada Geese (my highest number in months), 8 Wood Ducks, Acadian Flycatcher (calling), American Redstart, several Robins, Red Shouldered Hawk, 2 White Eyed Vireos and a Great Blue Heron. And there was a swarm of 30+ Chimney Swifts over the pond (they nest in the chimney of the nearby old post office building).
