The activity at the bridge was great even as we the fog made distant calls difficult to locate. An hour on the bridge gave us close-up looks at 3 BLACK-THROATED GREEN, 2 NORTHERN PARULA, 1 BLACK AND WHITE, 6 MAGNOLIA, 2 AMERICAN REDSTART, 1 NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH, 1 BLACK-THROATED BLUE, and 5(!) BLACKBURNIAN WARBLERS. We also saw the Olive-Sided Flycatchers and two Rose-Breasted Grosbeaks from the bridge. At the entrance of the trail we heard a Screech Owl. Along the river we found more R-B Grosbeak, a Baltimore Oriole, a female Indigo Bunting, and more warblers. Moving through the forest we found 2 Ovenbird, 1 Veery, 3 Wood Thrush, and a Pileated Woodpecker. As we approached the end of the Job Corps trail bird activity picked up again. The Chickadees were racing about making a lot of noise - drawing our attention to the steam where they were bathing. Then we saw a couple of Tufted Titmouse... then the warblers! The bathing site was buzzing with a MAGNOLIA, 3 BLACK-THROATED GREEN, an AMERICAN REDSTART, a NORTHERN PARULA, a CANADA, a CHESTNUT-SIDED, and a BLUE-WINGED WARBLER. The spell was broken by three horsemen... hhuumm...
