However, passerine action was tolerable, including lovely sighting of adult RED HEADED WOODPECKER flying across the point. BOBOLINKS were heard flying overhead, and Sean McCandless picked up the " tick " note of a PURPLE FINCH. Warblers included: BLACK-THROATED GREEN-1, COMMON YELLOWTHROAT-1, NASHVILLE- 2, REDSTART- ~20, MAGNOLIA-12, BLACK/WHITE-6, PARULA-3. The warblers were really moving, and I`m sure we got on only a fraction of them. It was frustating to see them going rapidly through the treetops and not getting a good look at anything. Others included: Greatcrested Flycatcher- 4 Red-eyed Vireo- 11 White-eyed Vireo-3 Wood Thrush- 1 Veery- 2 Ruby Throated Hummingird-6 Scarlet Tanager-1 Baltimore Oriole-2 Red-breasted Nuthatch-5 Yellow-billed Cuckoo-2 Pileated Woodpecker-1 Peewee-6 BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHERS- would not be an exaggeration to say hundreds. Eastern Kingbird-6 Willow/Alder Flycatcher-2 Yellow-bellied/Acadian- 2 Leslie Fisher Cecil County ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
