Glad to have them back. I don't care about the geese we have here in the summer, I only like them here in winter time in flocks. Over the weekend, I birding in four states, Wildwood, NJ; Rt 1 in Delaware on my way to the ferry to NJ; brief birding in O.C., MD and today at Chincoteague (possible MONGOLIAN PLOVER in distance at Swan Cove yesterday and today). This bird was similar to Wilson Plover, except for dark leg and bigger. Still unidentified. Saw Buff-breasted Sandpiper at Rt 50 field near Salisbury today on my way home. Does this muddy field (burrow? pit) have a name. Also with Buff-breasted were both yellowlegs, semi plover, killdeer, semi sand, glossy ibis and few others.
