Most notable was the number of Cedar Waxwings - I estimated we saw about 40 throughout the park. Also had decent looks at 2 Cooper's, 3 Red-shouldered, 1 Red-tail and 1 Sharp-shinned Hawks, although the Sharpie seemed to be the only migrant. We had one Rose-breasted Grosbeak, about 10 Red-eyed Vireos. There was a surprising lack of warblers. We only tallied one Chestnut-sided, one Black-throated Green and 6 N. Parula. Monarch migration appears to be much better than last year, they were in good numbers throughout the park.
