The bird sang again at 7:46 PM. This is the latest I have ever heard Whips sing in Maryland. I was not home Sunday night but sat and waited tonight until 7:50 PM and no Whips sang. I also had two young Ruby-throated Hummingbirds still around the property on Sunday, Sept. 16. A male and a female. They were drinking much more than normal. None were around the deck feeder tonight. Perhaps they are in South Carolina tonight. A singly Pine Warbler sang on 9/15 also.
