We also had great looks at an adult male Rose-breasted = Grosbeak. (They seem to be thick this fall. I saw 3 together = fly-catching in a walnut tree off Marriottsville Rd Baltimore Co Sept = 19.) Warblers were slow this morning (about one each of Yellowthroat, Bt = Green, Bt Blue, Palm, Magnolia), and there were very few hawks. We had a = probable distant Purple Finch and several Ruby-crowned Kinglets..
