The push of = migrants last week had moved on, there were only a few SONG, a dozen = SAVANNAHS along with 8 FIELDS and 20 CHIPPING. A lone BOBOLINK remained = but 2 MEADOWLARKS were new. The most exciting non-sparrow was a = RED-HEADED WOODPECKER juvenile. Poor little guy was harassed and chased = off by a ROBIN which was one of the many flocking everywhere. The first = noticeable migrant BLUE JAYS were moving. 2 OSPREY and a couple SHARPIES = flew over. Warblers were down with 2 BTB's, a couple MAGNOLIA and a = single CHESTNUT-SIDED and PALM. Came home to a RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH in the yard.
