Nevertheless, there were a few warblers around. Totaled 5 Redstarts, 3 Black& Whites, 2 Pines, 2 Palms, a Magnolia, a Yellowthroat and an Ovenbird. Other birds included a Pileated Wood., 4 Kestrels, 2 RB Nuts, the first Ruby-Crowned Kinglet and Junco of the fall. I thought I had something with the Junco as it is 2 weeks early by my records, but I see that others beat me to it. In the evening, at home near Middleford, I caught the tail end of a flock moving through the yard that had RB Nut, Summer Tanager and a male Cape May Warbler (my 4th of the fall).
