I didn't make it to Rock Creek Park DC today but Barry did, and here is what he saw: Warblers: Mourning (1 immature), Blackburnian (1), Black-and-white (4), Parula (3), Magnolia (15), Black-throated Green (15), Black-throated Blue (3), Common Yellowthroat (10), Chestnut-sided (8). Seen by others: Cape May (1), Tennessee (1). Red-eyed Vireo (3), seen by others: Philadelphia (1). Also Ruby-crowned Kinglet (1), House Wren (15). Seen by others: Brown Creeper, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. The birds were seen in vicinity of the ridge (picnic areas 17/18), maintenance yard and the stable (where the Mourning W. was). Barry noted that the birds were very active -- probably only 1/4 identified as they rushed by -- and the whole affair shot down rather quickly around 9:30 am.
