The bird, in perfect lighting, paraded around at a distance of about 30 yards for over 10 minutes before deciding to disappear in some of the taller grass. Other birds there (no sign of the Lark Sparrow of yesterday) included 13 Killdeer, 20 Horned Larks, 4 Chimney Swifts, and a Kestrel.
