Fulton Pond, on the north side of Rte 216 continues to host two AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVERs, with a lone Killdeer being the only other shorebird present, amid a hundred or more Canada Geese. First RUDDY DUCK of the season in Howard Co. was seen at the large pond on the north side of Lime Kiln Rd among scores of Canada Geese. Brown's Bridge Rd. was devoid of birds as the reservoir there is full, with no shorebird habitat. The Greenbridge Rd. access to Triadelphia Reservoir (Montgomery Co.) continues to be productive. The following birds were seen there today: Pied-billed Grebe--1 DC Cormorant--2 Black-bellied Plover--1 Killdeer--14 Least Sandpiper--1 White-rumped Sandpiper--1 Pectoral Sandpiper--2 Ring-billed Gull--2 All of the above birds were also seen in Howard Co., as they were either on the water, or flew over the water at some point in time. It was a short, but productive, afternoon.
