If in doubt please call anytime from 5:00 a.m. - 7:00)***** Birded Mt. Pleasant this morning but the continuation of this warm weather seems to have suppressed the sparrow movement. No outstanding numbers but SWAMPS had increased along the streams. SAVANNAHS and FIELDS in small numbers on the woodstock corner. Two days now with no Lincolns- I am going into withdrawal! A nice surprise however was a PURPLE FINCH that had been bathing in the stream. My first GOLDEN CROWNED KINGLET and a BROWN CREEPER assured the winter birds are on the move. A dozen PALM WARBLERS and a single NASHVILLE. This afternoon 5 LAUGHING GULLS circling over the house.
