The best day was Tuesday morning at Bayside. A nice front had moved through and there were lots of warblers. I arrived at 7AM, Sam Dyke joined me at 7:30. Warblers seen with approximate numbers. There was well over a hundred plus warblers seen flying which went unidentified. Tennessee - 1 Magnolia - 5 Cape May - 2 Black-throated Blue - 4 Yellow-rumps - 20 Black-throated Green - 1 Pine Warbler - 2 Palm Warbler - 6 Blackpoll - 5 Black and White - 3 Redstarts - 12 Yellowthroats - 3 Other birds seen, Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers (7), Brown Creepers (8), Red-breasted Nuthatch (6), Yellow-billed Cuckoo (1), Eastern Phoebes (15), Blue-headed Vireos (2), Ruby-crowned Kinglet (35), Golden-crowned Kinglet (7), Junco (1). At other spots on the Eastern Shore, Black-throated Blues, Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Pheobes and Magnolia Warblers were the predominate species seen.
