Subject:      Assateague Island Birding

Birded at Campground Point and Life of the Forest Trail
from 7:15AM till 12:30 PM with Sam Dyke and Allen
Deward. We had a warbler fall out in strong NW winds.
Observed a total of 16 Warbler species including
Nashville, Tennessee, Magnolia, Cape May, Palm (Western
and Yellow), Bay-breasted, Blackpoll, Pine, Am.
Redstart, N. Parula, Wilson's, Black and White, Black-
throated Blue, Black-throated Green, Common Yellowthroat
and many Yellow-rumped warblers.  Also observer both
species of Kinglets, Brown Creeper, Yellow-bellied
Sapsucker, Scarlet Tanager, Philadelphia Vireo, Dark-
eyed Junco, Chipping Sparrows, Baltimore Oriole, Indigo
Bunting and Merlin amoung others.
