If you're not up to the two-hour round trip walk from the Oxen Hill Farm parking lot, and if you know your way around the southern tip of DC (all the maps I have are wrong), this bridge can be reached in 5 to 10 minutes by following the Oxen Hill Hiker/Biker Trail which starts between the cyclone fences separating DC Village from the Metro police canine training facility.
