I went there because I read Bonnie's message about the dam being drained and shorebirds showing up. I saw side by side Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, so they were easy to compare. I also saw 2 Great Egrets, a Green Heron, and 3 Pied-billed Grebes. I was surprised to see the Green Heron on such a chilly morning. I figured all of them would be gone by now. Also saw a Sharp-shinned. The only warblers I saw though was a Common Yellowthroat and plenty of Yellow-rumps. But the best thing there had to be those 3 otters!!! Oops, forgot, also saw a Red-eyed Vireo. ======================================================================= > To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com > with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey > ======================================================================= Find the best deals on the web at AltaVista Shopping! http://www.shopping.altavista.com ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
