Admission is free. This topic is of particular interest to birders because of the effect of light on bird migration. One of the talks will be "Light Pollution's Effect on Migrating Birds" by Fredrick W. Fallon, Paxtuent Wildlife Center. The complete program can be viewed at http://www.westminsterastro.org/ida_md/nov12.htm Since parking downtown can be a pain, I'd suggest that people who are interested in attending try to carpool. Note to BALTIMORE members: If you're interested in attending, please send me a message and I'll try to coordinate the carpooling. Let me know if you have a big car and are willing to drive. cheers, shireen -- Shireen Gonzaga Baltimore, MD whimbrel@home.com ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
