(about same size as Cabbage White, all orange, very bright orange all over) We were hoping for all 7 species of woodpeckers at the park (missed: sapsucker) Later Steve Sanford, Pete Webb and I went to Wards Chapel Rd to search for sapsucker, none. Steve Sanford and I went to Powells Run Rd. at Falls Run area. We saw one woodpecker landed at a dead tree, about time to break out the champagne, but when we looked up, it turn out to be a Red-bellied Woodoecker, close enough. I haven't heard of any reports in the past about all 7 woodpeckers species here in Baltimore County. Birds seen at Powells Run Rd. 7 Black Vulture 6 Turkey Vulture 1 Cooper's Hawk 1 Red-tailed hawk 2 Mourning Dove 2 Blue Jay 3 American Crow 2 Northern Mockingbird and possible few other species Kevin Graff Baltimore, MD ocean_city2001@yahoo.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
