Lots of White-throats and RC Kinglets around as noted, but our best bird of the day was a Connecticut Warbler seen just before we left the park. A nice end to an eerie morning watching the planes as well as the birds! These were my first sightings of large numbers of planes since Black Tuesday and I'm afraid they got equal billing with the avian flyers. Sure hope this sensation passes.....but it did not mar a beautiful day in the field.
