I spent the morning at Lilypons which was very active, lots of sparrows and blackbirds. I got a total of 22 species. The highlights included RUSTY BLACKBIRDS feeding on the Lilly pads, 4 SNIPE which I flushed out of the cat tails and what I think was an American Bittern. The bird flushed out of cat tails and flew away from me into the sun. He landed in the cattails and I couldn't locate him again.
