Mime-version: 1.0 Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-transfer-encoding: 7bit Hi all -- Barry and I were en route to a dog show in Cumberland when we stopped for a short while at the Sideling Hill Cut rest area off I-68 to walk the dog (about 11:30 am). In ten minutes we had two Northern Goshawks coming along the ridge, one adult high and one immature just over the tree line, also one Cooper's, two Redtails and half-dozen Turkey Vultures. On the way back we stopped again (at about 4:30 pm) and had 25+ Turkey Vultures heading south but no other raptors. Does anyone watch from this ridge with regularity? It would seem to be a good spot with easy access, and based on our experience, good birds. Cheers, Gail Mackiernan and Barry Cooper ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
