We've been having excellent flights, even on days with less than advantageous winds. If we get the good Northwest wind hawk watching should even be better. The group will be meeting in the parking lot for the walk to the Hawk Watch. Some very late Warblers, Vireos and other Fall migrants are sure to be there. All varieties of woodpeckers have been seen. Don't forget, we've already had a two Goshawk day this year and three for the season. The next Goshawk is about due. Meeting Place: Elk Neck State Park, Turkey Point parking lot. Time: 8:00 am (half day or till the hawks stop). Suggested equipment: bug spray (for ticks), appropriate inclement weather clothes. Conveniences: trees and a Port-a-Potty at the Hawk Watch. Admission: None. Questions: call Richard Donham 610 - 932-0634 at or email him at donham@udel.edu Sorry Parke. ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
