Highlights, were a Common Snipe, Hermit Thrushes -- 6 at one time in one location! -- , a late Swainson's Thrush, one fly-over Pine Siskin*, a female Purple Finch, an adult Merlin, a Bald Eagle, about 8 Wood Ducks, a few Ring-necked and Ruddy Ducks, and 500-1000 American Coots. *Bob Ringler also told us of having a number of Siskins flying over Cromwell Valley this morning. Also, Pete Webb and I went over to Middle River to check on a possible Eared Grebe we heard about, but did not locate the bird.
