Highlight of the day was a male Purple Finch and 2 or 3 Fox Sparrows down the trail near lumber yard. Among the massive flocks of starlings, few blackbirds and grackles and I thought one of the blackbirds was a Rusty with them. 1 Canada Goose - flyby 7 Black Vulture 8 Turkey Vulture 1 Sharp-shinned Hawk 2 Red-shouldered Hawk 19 Red-tailed Hawk 1 American Kestrel 8 Rock Dove 6 Mourning Dove 1 Red-bellied Woodpecker 2 Northern Flicker 1 Yellow-bellied Sapsucker 1 Hairy Woodpecker 2 Eastern Phoebe 15 American Crow 11 Carolina Chickadee 2 Tufted Titmouse 2 Winter Wren 2 Carolina Wren 2 Golden-crowned Kinglet 7 Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1 Eastern Bluebird 1 Swainson's Thrush 10 Hermit Thrush 105 American Robin 1 Gray Catbird 4 Northern Mockingbird 816 European Starling 1 Blue-headed Vireo 5 Yellow-rumped Warbler 5 Northern Cardinal 1 Eastern Towhee 17 Song Sparrow 2 Field Sparrow 1 Chipping Sparrow 44 "Slate-colored" Junco 71 White-throated Sparrow 3 Fox Sparrow 1 Swamp Sparrow 19 Red-winged Blackbird - some flyby 3 Common Grackle - flyby w/ starlings 8 American Goldfinch 1 Purple Finch 6 House Finch 44 species Mammals 9 Gray Squirrel Butterflies 1 Monarch 2 Orange Sulfer Kevin Graff Baltimore, MD (until Wed.) ocean_city2001@yahoo.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
