Highlights included: Great close-up views of both kinglets, including one Golden-crowned Kinglet that was regularly displaying the brilliant red patch in the middle of his golden crown. Ducks - Gadwall, Ruddy, Green-winged Teal, Black, Northern Shoveler Geese - amongst the many Canadas were eight Blue Geese Several Bald Eagles Hawks - Red-tailed, Cooper's, Sharp-shinned, Northern Harrier Shorebirds - Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs, Dunlin, Least Sandpiper and Pectoral Sandpipers, and two Common Snipe Sparrows - Field, Savannah, Song, Swamp, White-crowned, White-throated and one Hermit Thrush. A total of 60 species were sighted on the property.
