The count will continue until Nov. 30th, or until the counters wear out, whichever happens first. Continuing decent flights, with ENE wind early, shifting to NW in the afternoon, 184 raptors between 9 AM and 1:30 PM, including our 4th GOSHAWK for the season, coming through about 10 AM. Counters C. Gant, H. Watson and co,. L.Fisher and the Quins. Visitors from North East MD as well, Jim and Lynne Just. " Snakebit " Harry Watson, who has been faithful every Tuesday all season, FINALLY got a count over 20 birds, much to his delight!! BV- 2 TV- 12 BE- 2 SS- 28 CH- 12 NG- 1 RS- 38 RT- 88 UF- 1 Red-tailed and Red-shouldered are now dominating the flight. Other passerine migrants included RUSTY BLACKBIRD, PURPLE FINCH and EVENING GROSBEAK. FORSTERS TERN was spotted on the North East River.
