There has been a pair of Swamp Sparrows at the rear of the pond in the marshy vegetation (where the Marsh Wren was earlier in the month). Also present were a half dozen or so Ruby Crowned Kinglets and a Brown Creeper. A highlight on Monday and Tuesday, in addition to the Swamp Sparrows, was a skulking Brown Thrasher. Yesterday also had a perched Red Shouldered Hawk over the boardwalk. Also present recently have been a pair of Coots, a Double Crested Cormorant, and 10+ Wood Ducks.
