First a gorgeous male HARRIER winging over the fields. Quickly topped quickly by an immature NORTHERN GOSHAWK powering over. (Interestingly one was also seen in the same location in 1992 also on 10/31). Another HARRIER (a brownie) along with RED-TAILS, RED-SHOULDERS and an awesome female COOPERS. A MERLIN blasted out of nowhere into a flock of goldfinch scattering them in all directions. After the raptor distractions were over we found a LINCOLNS among 100+ SONG SPARROWS. A single BOBOLINK hanging on and a flyover MEADOWLARK. A male HOODED MERGANSER flashed by.
