These included: Hooded Mergansers (at least 8) Ruddy Ducks (many) Ring-necked Ducks (lots) Black Ducks (8-10) Gadwalls (6 or so) Green-winged Teal (many) Northern Shovelers (6 seen) Mallards (many) Most of the above were seen on the small portion of the lake viewable = from White Rock Road. Numbers are best guesses as the ducks constantly = moved in and out of view. Also, several Pied-billed Grebes and many = American Coots & Mallards were seen on the main part of the lake inside = of the park. I also got to enjoy a Sharp-shinned Hawk and a Red-tailed = Hawk cruising overhead.
