They were sticking to the mutli flora hedgerows but pretty skittish. We also found the first AMERICAN TREE SPARROW of the fall. Plenty of SAVANNAH and SONG. A fair number of FIELD and a couple SWAMP and WHITE-CROWNS. A singing FOX SPARROW and numerous WHITE-THROATS. The two juvenile RED-HEADED WOODPECKERS were in the woods adjacent to the "good field". A flyover NORTHERN HARRIER and EASTERN MEADOWLARKS were other highlights. Went to GREENBRIDGE but was pretty slow. A single OSPREY and a raft of 20 RUDDY DUCKS and one male HOODED MERGANSER.
