MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Ken and I took a walk around Centennial Lake late yesterday afternoon, which produced the following: Red-tailed Hawk (trying to evade the mobbing crows) White-throated Sparrow Song Sparrow Rusty Blackbird (about 9 picking through the wet leaves in the marshy pond near the dam) Northern Flicker American Robin Golden-crowned Kinglet Ruby-crowned Kinglet Mockingbird Kingfisher (calling) Cedar Waxwings (large flock) Goldfinch Red-winged Blackbird Blue Jay Ring-billed Gull Purple Finch (2 in low shrub on north side of lake; they let us get to within 10 feet before flying up into a nearby tree) Yellow-rumped Warbler Pied-billed Grebe Ruddy Duck Bufflehead (1 in WMA at shallow end of lake among a large flock of Canada Geese) Double-crested Cormorant Plus, of course, all the usual suspects.
