Monday #21 - flyby headed SE, 1 Common Loon #22 - flyby Sharp-shinned Hawk #23 - flyby Northern Flicker Has Red-tailed Hawk hang around in the woods in the backyard Tuesday #24 - 1 Winter Wren checked out the barn, this bird nearly scared me when I was checked out the fox hole in the fourth stall, when something took off from the 55 gallon oil drum to the gutter and hiding in the scrub. Nothing new for Wed, many geese, vultures, sharpie flyby, several passerines Today - #25 3 flyby Tundra Swans headed SE On my way to the old house in White Ave, saw flock of 6 Tundra Swans headed SE at intersection of Silver Spring Rd and Belair Rd in Perry Hall at 4:57pm. Will be away for Eastern Shore for the weekend with Baltimore Bird Club trip to Horsehead sat morning and will looks for field birds in Caroline County afterward and on Sunday to Blackwater NWR with TV crew from MPT "Outdoor Maryland" filming me about birdwatching and hawks too at the refuge.
