The count will continue until Nov. 30th, or until the counters wear out. Candi Lee reported a count of 16 raptors today, not one of our most stellar days! She jokingly referred to herself as " snakebit". This refers to a season long joke of one counter, who has not missed a day all season but has only had one decent flight for his efforts, who had been dubbed with the nickname of " snake bit" by our only Charlie Gant. Said counter Harry Watson is very good natured, and we have all had a good laugh over this. He should get a prize for his tenacity. Anyways, in 3 hours, SW winds: TV-7 (that hurts, nearly half count in TVs) BE-1 SS-5 RT-3 I anticipate at least several more good flight days: in 2000 we had a flight of 110 on 11/11, and in 1999 we had a flight of 172 on 11/13. It seems that we will attempt to hang in there this year until end of month.
