The count will continue through November, or until the counters wear out. Or, until the birds quit flying, which seems to be happening at the moment. Some very poor days this week have certainly not helped the totals along. I am still anticipating several more decent flights with a cold front. Hope dies hard in hawk watchers. A total thus for of 5, 045 raptors through 11/12, missing data from 11/7 yet.
