MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit There is a guy that bands in Washington County although its near the Frederick line. I hear he tries to band into early December. I'm sure with this warm weather that the owls aren't moving very much. Last night was just too darn warm. The station is now up to 169 saw-whets, two screech owls and one barred owl for this season. Not bad for my single person operation with limited hours. I hope that the wind will turn northerly tonight and the temp will drop, but have yet to check the weather. I may have a full house scheduled for Saturday, but need to check my plans for the day before I know what time I will open. If the weather is less than ideal for owl migration, it looks as though the Leonids may be a good backup for entertainment. Visitors are welcome, but plans must be confirmed before your arrival. Please contact me personally to schedule a visit. Due to the nature of the operation it is necessary to limit the number of visitors.
