MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-2" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Shortly before 3 pm today, Friday, Nov. 23, while looking out my office window at the frantic pigeons, I saw a Peregrine Falcon hunting pigeons over downtown Bethesda. After about 10 minutes it landed on top of my office building, then took off after being perched for about 5 minutes. This bird is an adult that appears to be rather large. It reappeared a few minutes later at some distance and eventually began spiralling up with wings and tail spread. =20 Lisa Shannon, who works in a nearby building, was able to see it from her offices as it perched on the top of my office building. =20 It is really something to see a Peregrine fly directly toward my office window! =20 Rob Hilton rhilton@csa.com Bethesda, Md.=20 ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
