It was on November 13, 1976 that Rick Blom, Jim = Stasz, and I visited the park and were impressed by the numbers of = waterfowl and sparrows. The sparrow habitat is now 20-30 feet tall but = the the lake continues to provide an excellent place for migrating and = wintering waterfowl.
