I presume it was Baltimore but I had a sense of the face being more like a Bullock's. Pete Webb and I went there to see if we could relocate it but were unsuccessful. On the way back, though, we stopped at Perryville Community Park on the Bay on the north side of the Vets Hospital. We saw: ~5 Gadwall ~25 Wigeon ~25 Black Ducks ~100 Mallards 2 Shovelers ~10 G-w Teal ~25 Ringnecks ~100 Buffleheads 2 Female Goldeneyes ~300 Coots ~20 P-b Grebes After a general scarcity of waterfowl in various excursions in the last few weeks, this was a pleasant surprise. Most of these birds were also not too far away. There were also 2 adult Bald Eagles perched conspicuously in one of the larger trees.
