The park is the best place to scope this sheltered cove, which often holds a lot of waterfowl and gulls. Unfortunately, the pelican was not there yesterday (late morning) and as far as I know, hasn't been reported recently. Barry said there was not much around, in fact, although still a lot of lingering Laughing Gulls and a few Forster's Terns, as well as a small party of Tundra Swans in the cove.
