Yes, be assured we scoured the water and the shoreline for the duck, and for quite some time as we expected it to be by itself -- but if it was there, it was on the rocks hidden from view. Btw, there was also a policeman at the northern end of the reservoir, pulled off in a driveway, but he ignored us.
